Human Reform League

1. Tieren- The MSJ-06 II-A Tieren is the mainstay mobile suit of the Human Reform League is comparable in design to a bipedal tank, markedly less advanced and less maneuverable than the mass-production types of the other major powers. Unlike all other mobile suits in Gundam 00, and indeed in the Gundam metaseries as a whole, the Tieren series have no cockpit display screens. Instead, the pilot wears a virtual reality helmet which connects to the mobile suit's sensors. There are multiple variants of the Tieren that specialize in an antiaircraft, artillery, and space combat. Although largely replaced by the GN-XIII by the second season, at least one high mobility type is piloted by Sergei Smirnov during Hank Hercule's attempted coup d'état and the collapse of the orbital elevator tower in Africa.
2. Tieren Taozi- The MSJ-06 II-SP Tieren Taozi is a mobile suit built from the ground up to best express the physical and cognitive enhancements of the super-soldier Soma Peries, the Taozi is a highly-maneuverable general-purpose mobile suit superior to standard-model Tieren variants in any terrain. The Taozi is the only Tieren model that does not use use he HRL's VR helmet system, instead incorporating a holographic "surround monitor" into cockpit walls.

Union

1. Realdo-

   The VMS-15 Union Realdo is a previous-generation variable mobile suit manufactured by the Union, still a mainstay of the Union Military as of 2307 despite gradual retirement in favor of its successor, the Flag. "VMS" stands for "Variable Mobile Suit.

   In the second season, Katharon was able to enhance the Realdo for space combat.

   
   

2. Flag- Making its first appearance in the second episode of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, the SVMS-01 Union Flag is a transformable mobile suit used by the Union. In the hands of skilled pilots, such as Graham Aker, the Flag can transform between flight and mobile suit modes in mid-air. When the Anti-Gundam Investigative Unit is formed, Graham's Flag is upgraded by Ralph Aifman so that it can combat the Gundams by increasing its speed, improving its armor, and adding an anti-beam coating. As the Anti-Gundam Investigative Unit is renamed to Overflags and expanded into an entire squadron, more Flags are similarly upgraded and designated as SVMS-01O Overflags. Towards the end of the first season, Graham's Flag was further modified to incorporate a GN Drive Tau. This version, called the GN-Flag, is destroyed in a battle with the Gundam Exia in the final episode of the first season.

Advance European Union

1. Hellion- Manufactured in large numbers and exported outside the AEU member nations. The second most common mobile suit in the world, the Hellion has been used by terrorists. The current model is 05 Perpetuum; previous models include 09 Initium and 00 Medium. The Hellion also holds the distinction of being the first transformable mobile suit, as well as the first suit to utilize linear weapon technology.
2. Enact- The latest mobile suit developed by the AEU, the AEU-09 AEU Enact's basic design is heavily based on the Union's Flag and shares many features, such as the flight form transformation and armaments. The AEU has staked its organization's prestige on the development of this new solar energy-adapted mobile suit. Variants include a Commander type and a Space type. Ali al-Saachezwas give a customize variant of the Enact by the PMC Trust. This unit is further augmented by docking with the AEU-MA07013 Agrissa mobile armor, however, the mobile armor is destroyed by theGundam Throne Drei during its confrontation with Gundam Exia. al-Saachez later abandons the Enact when he steals the Gundam Throne Zwei from the Trinity siblings.

United Nations

1. GN-X- The GNX-603T GN-X (pronounced "Jinx") is a semi-mass produced mobile suit, created by Alejandro Corner distributed by Laguna Harvey influenced by the Innovators. Thirty of these suits were produced and handed over in equal proportions (10 drives each) to the three superpowers that form a combined UN Army.The GN-X units piloted by combat aces easily overwhelm and outnumber the Gundam Thrones, despite the Gundam Thrones having superior units. With the GN-X's introduction, the technological gap between Celestial Being and the major world powers has been bridged. Of the original squad of thirty, only one unit remains (Soma Peries unit) after the UN and Celestial Being wiped each other out in a climatic battle at Lagrange 1. However, in the four year interim that links both seasons together, the Earth Sphere Federation has been able to mass-produce a new version, the GN-XIII.
2. Alvatore- First appearing in episode 24, the GNMA-XCVII Alvatore was a large golden mobile armor piloted by Alejandro Corner, who first used this unit on a joint UN operation to eradicate Celestial Being, at one point severely damaging the Ptolemaios. It is equipped with 7 GN Drive Taus (not including the one in Alvaaron) and is heavily armed with multiple GN beam guns, GN fangs, a pair of large pincer claws, a nigh impenetrable GN field, and a powerful GN particle cannon. It has a golden mobile suit, Alvaaron, stored inside its main body. The Alvatore was destroyed by Gundam Exia when it literally sliced the mobile armor apart with its GN sword.
3. Alvaaron- A golden mobile suit uncover from the Alvatore. The GNMS-XCVII Alvaaron is equipped with a pair of beam rifle and beam saber. The Alvaaron is also capable of using a GN Field and fire a powerful beam shot similar to Gundam Virtue.

Gundam Thrones

1. Gundam Throne Eins- A Gundam from the Trinity team. The GNW-001 Gundam Throne Eins specializes in high-powered, long-range artillery similar to that of the Dynames and Virtue. The GN Tau Drive it uses emits red GN particles that differ from the original GN Drives. The GN Mega Launcher is able to fire a long-range sniper rifle or an extremely powerful beam, depending on the weapon mode. Docking is possible with either the Throne Zwei, Throne Drei or both simultaneously to further enhance its firepower, creating a highly concentrated GN beam for wide-area sweeping. The Throne Eins was destroyed by Ali Al-Saachez after he hijacked the Throne Zwei, killing Johann Trinity.
2. Gundam Throne Zwei- A Gundam from the Trinity team, the GNW-002 Gundam Throne Zwei is powered by a GN Drive Tau. Its primary armaments are the GN-Buster Gun, GN Buster Sword and eight GN Fangs which are stored in launchers on both hips that can be used to attack enemies remotely. The GN Fangs are capable of being used as beam guns or generating short beam edges to engage enemies as daggers. After Michael Trinity was shot and killed by Ali Al-Saachez, the latter took the Throne Zwei as his own, as its biometric scanner had been deactivated by the hacking of Veda. He immediately proceeded to kill Johann Trinity by shooting down the Throne Eins. He later piloted Throne Zwei against the original Gundam Meisters and during an intense battle severely damaged Gundam Dynames. However, Lockon Stratos was able to salvage an operational cannon from the GN Arms Type-D and use it as a turret to snipe down the Throne Zwei and destroy it. The remains of its upper torso are salvaged and used to create the Arche Gundam.
3. Gundam Throne Drei- A Gundam from the Trinity team, GNW-003 Gundam Throne Drei is powered by a GN Drive Tau and specializes in combat support. Its GN stealth field, which deploys huge pairs of wing-like GN particles over a wide range, is a powerful ability possessed only by this unit. Its GN shield pod can internally store various missiles, back-up beam sabers and other such equipment that meets tactical needs. Due to this capacity to carry large amount of GN Particles, the Throne Drei can dock itself with the Throne Eins to enhance its GN Mega Launcher. Throne Drei is the only Throne unit remaining at the end of season one.

Earth Sphere Federation/A-Laws

1. GN-XIII- Successor to the GN-X, the GNX-609T GN-XIII is the Federation's mass-produced mobile suit used by both the peacekeeping army and the elite A-Laws force. Overall design is similar to the GN-X, minus the four thruster canards. The units are equipped with a GN Beam Lance, which doubles as both a melee weapon and a beam rifle it also carries a beam saber, a small shield which can also generate a GN Beam Shield, and also a grenade that releases a green coloured smoke which causes beam attacks to dissipate. The A-Laws use a red coloured GN-XIII, while the Federation uses grey-blue GN-XIIIs.
2. Ahead- The GNX-704T Ahead is a new mobile suit derived in part from the GN-X series, which is used by the Earth Sphere Federation's elite A-Laws unit. Slightly larger than the GN-XIII, the Ahead boasts a pair of GN Thrusters mounted on both sides of its GN Drive, giving the Ahead greater maneuverability and speed than standard Federation mobile suits. It is equipped with a GN Shield and GN Beam Rifle. It also carries a pair of GN Sabers mounted in the shoulders. 12 Automaton units can be carried in a single Ahead unit, which are used in elimination of non-mechanical units on ground. Compared to the GN-X, Ahead's basic design is closer to the Gundams. For example, the cockpit is located in the upper torso like the new generation Gundams, rather than the waist like the GN-X line. Designed to perform greatly in every situation, it is a true multi purpose unit. At least two customized Aheads exist, piloted by Mr. Bushido and Soma Peries (Later transferred to Louise Halevy after Soma was declared KIA) respectively.
3. Trilobite- The GNMA-04B11 Trilobite is a large mobile armor equipped with three GN Tau drives, used for underwater combat. It first appeared in episode 4 of season 2 and it requires two pilots. The Trilobite is first sortied against Celestial Being and succeeds in stopping the Ptolemaios but it is quickly destroyed by Setsuna in the 00 Gundam. The Trilobite is armed with multiple torpedoes including two large ones that are capable of piercing GN fields, in close range combat it can deploy four large claws, normally stored against the body.
4. Masurao- The GNX-U02X Masurao is a prototype unit built by Billy Katagiri for Mr. Bushido and is based on the design of the Overflag combined with the Federation's GN Technology. The unit's primary armament is a pair of beam katanas, similar to Bushido's custom Ahead. The Masurao is also equipped with a copy of the Trans-Am system based on notes Billy found in Professor Ralph Eifman's room. This allows the Masurao to fight on par with 00 Raiser. However, the Trans-Am system destroys the GN Tau Drive when activated resulting in time a shorter activation time and renders the Masurao inoperable when the system is shutdown. Also, because the Masurao lacks the advanced inertial dampeners of the Gundams, the extreme g-forces produced by the Trans-Am pose a serious health risk.
5. Susanowo- The GNX-Y901TW Susanowo is an improved version of the Masurao and piloted by Mr. Bushido. Instead of twin beam katanas, the Susanowo now wields a pair of GN reinforced blades which can combined into a double-sword. The Susanowo also has a GN Beam Cannon mounted in its torso that fires bursts much like Seravee's Hyper Burst bazooka for long range combat. Its Trans-Am system has also been updated and its time limit has been extended. The Susanowo was heavily damaged by the 00 Raiser, revealing the face of an Overflag behind the shattered samurai crest.

Innovators

1. Arche Gundam- The GNW-20000 Arche Gundam is the mobile suit piloted by Ali Al-Saachez and bears a striking similarity to the Gundam Throne Zwei. It is equipped with a GN Buster Sword, which can be slid up and down the arm, a shield mounted on the left arm, 10 upgraded GN Fangs, and beam sabers stored in the tips of its feet. The Arche is destroyed twice during the series, once by Setsuna in the 00 Gundam, and finally by Lockon (Lyle Dylandy) in the Cherudim.
2. Gadessa- The GNZ-003 Gadessa is a mobile suit piloted by Revive Revival. The Gadessa is armed with a large, triple-barreled cannon mounted on its back known as the GN Mega Launcher, two beam sabers, and a pair of GN Vulcan attached to its wrists. Revive joins the A-Laws as a captain, bringing the unit with him. The GN Mega Launcher has the ability to pierce GN Fields unless the GN Field is extremely powerful, and the beam is also movable when firing but it needs a certain amount of time to recharge. The Gadessa can also be equipped with a powerful optional GN Thruster connected to the legs. The Gadessa's torso mounted cockpit is connected to the back unit with the GN Drive, and can detach as an escape pod.Later in the series, Hilling Care pilots a second Gadessa. Her unit's GN Mega Launcher is equipped with an additional pack that attaches to the back of the mobile suit, which gives it a shorter charge time than Revive's unit. Close to the end of the series, the Gadessa used by Revive is equipped with its own Trans-Am System, which it used to great effect to harry the Seravee Gundam and 00 Raiser, alongside Hilling's Garazzo.
3. Garazzo- The GNZ-005 Garazzo is a melee-type mobile suit piloted is Bring Stabity. Ithe Garazzo is designed to have superior mobility and speed, possessing capacities that exceed those of the A-Law's units. The Garazzo has a similar appearance to the Gadessa, retaining much of the frame while adding spikes to the shoulders and knuckles, as well as adding a shield built into its left shoulder. It has a powerful optional GN Thruster that can connect to its legs that increases its speed tremendously. Its armament includes a pair of GN Beam Claws stored inside the fingers of its hands which can be combined and has enough power to slice through 00 Gundam's GN Sword. It has a pair of GN Beam Guns attached to its wrists similar to Arios. It is also capable of producing a GN Field and is able to concentrate it on its GN Shield to deflect even Seravee's powerful shots. The Garazzo's cockpit while mounted in the torso, is connected to the back unit with the GN Drive, and can detach as an escape pod. The Garazzo is destroyed by the 00 Raiser in episode 12 of season 2 but Bring manages to survive via the unit's escape pod. Bring is then seen piloting a second Garazzo in a mission to hunt down the heavily damaged Ptolemaios II after its battle against the Memento Mori. This time, however, Bring is unable to escape the Garazzo's second destruction at the hands of Tieria Erde.
4. Gaddess- The GNZ-007 Gaddess has a similar appearance to that of the Gadessa, sporting a bright blue color scheme. Rather than the long range armament of the Gadessa, its equipment a GN Sword and 7 GN Fangs. The Gaddess cockpit while mounted in the torso, is connected to the back unit with the GN Drive, and can detach as an escape pod. The only Gaddess seen in the series was piloted byAnew Returner, who used it to fight Lockon Stratos and the Cherudim Gundam. Both mobile suits were heavily damaged by one another, until it was finally destroyed by a surprise shot from the 00 Raiser, killing Anew in the process.
5. Empruss- The GNMA-Y0001 Empruss is a prototype mobile armor first seen in episode 14 of season 2, piloted by Innovator Divine Nova. It is equipped with a GN Particle Cannon, a GN Field, 2 GN Cannons, 2 GN Beam Guns and two GN Grappling Claws. The Empruss's first sortie is a retaliation strike against Celestial Being for the destruction of the first Memento Mori orbital weapon, during which it is able to shoot down the Ptolemaios II. It is next seen during Kati Mannequin's attempt at destroying the Ptolemaios II just before the Break Pillar Incident. During this battle, the Empruss is able to immobilize both Arios Gundam and Seravee Gundam, but is forced to retreat at news of the coup. Afterwards, it returns to orbit to defend the second Memento Mori weapon. During Celestial Beings attack on the second Memento Mori, the Empruss engages the 00 Raiser in combat and is eventually destroyed.
6. Regnant- The GNMA-0001V Regnant is a mobile armor based on the Empruss and piloted by Louise Halevy. The Regnant is similarly equipped as Empruss, however, its GN Field is far more powerful and its cannon is capable of altering the path of its beam at a sharp angle, enabling it to use surprise attacks. The Regnant can also transform into a mobile suit form. The Regnant first appeared in episode 20, where it was delivered to Louise personally by Ribbons Almark. The Regnant is able to severely damage the Arios Gundam, as well as immobilize it, the Seravee Gundam, and the GN Archer before being damaged by the 00 Raiser, forcing it to retreat. Louise also used the Regnant to defeat and destroy Nena Trinity and the Gundam Throne Drei in an act of revenge. During the last stages of the war between Celestial Being, A-Laws, and the Innovators, the Regnant fights against the 00 Raiser as Saji Crossroad attempts to reason with Louise. Though it is able to immobilize the 00 Raiser, it is struck by a Gaga unit and critically damaged, knocking Louise out. The Regnant is subsequently abandoned, and later recovered by Federation forces after the battle.
7. Gaga- A lightweight mobile suit, the GNZ-004 Gaga first appeared in episode 23 of season 2 and are meant to be used as suicide weapons. Because of this, the Gaga possesses very little weapons and are produced in massive numbers for an army of Bring Stabity and Devine Nova clones to pilot. The machine itself was built and designed by Billy Katagiri to have high speed mobility and easy control for the pilot. The Gaga is also equipped with a Trans-AM system, but possesses the same time limit as the Susanowo. The only notable weapon is a GN Vulcan mounted in the torso.
8. Reborns Gundam- The CB-0000G/C Reborns Gundam is the mobile suit introduced in the series finale and piloted by the primary antagonist Ribbons Almark. Equipped with a pseudo-Twin Drive System located on its elbows, along with a Trans-Am System, the Reborns Gundam can assume the mode of Reborns Cannon which is armed with four powerful beam cannons on its torso, and the three-fingered hands can double as a electrocuting grappler. The mobile suit's main weapons are its GN Buster Launcher, a powerful beam rifle that is used by both modes, and a shield which houses four small GN Fin Fangs. Additionally, this unit is equipped with four identical Fangs on the back skirt and the four beam cannons on the front of the Reborns Cannon double as GN Large Fin Fangs. During Ribbons's battle withSetsuna F Seiei and the 00 Raiser, most of the Reborns Gundam's weapons are destroyed and it is severely damaged. Though Ribbons is able to cut off one of the 00 Gundam's arms, claiming one of the GN Drives, the machine is so damaged that he is forced to abandon it for the 0 Gundam.

Human side

1. 00 Qan[T]- he GNT-0000 00 Qan[T], pronounced as "Double Oh Quanta" is the successor unit to the GN-0000 00 Gundam, featured in the upcoming film. It possesses a Twin Drive System and will be equipped with a newly created solar furnace. The unit is piloted by Setsuna F Seiei. 00 Qan[T] is the latest prototype designed by Celestial Being. Its blueprint originated from Innovators and was sent over from Level-7 by Veda/Tieria. A power connector is built between its left shoulder and Twin Drive. It’s meant to directly transfer power from the Twin Drive to the GN Shield, allowing GN Particles to directly transfer over the shield for quick power recharge. 00 Qan[T]'s primary weapon is the GN Sword V, a dual functioning weapon between rifle and sword. Its blade is composed completely of the same material of GN Condensers. The GN Shield is attached to the left shoulder, which can deploy 6 GN Sword Bits (stored on the sides of the shield) and can be deployed as remote flying blades. There are 3 different types. The 2 A Bits are long bits which are usable as separate homing projectiles. The B Bits perform in the same manner, but can be optionally used as hand held daggers. The C Bits are similar in function to the A Bits, but are half the size of the latter, and can wield a beam saber. The Sword Bits can be reconfigured on the GN Sword V as a buster sword or a buster rifle for combat and also generate a GN Field/portal when positioned together. Setsuna only used this function once to break into the ELS main structure. Setsuna & 00 Qan[T] disappear to the ELS homeworld after Setsuna managed to contact with ELS. Their fates is unknown. 50 years later after ELS war (2364 AD), Setsuna and the 00 Qan[T] returned to Earth, where he visited an aged and blind Marina Ismail in her country home. The 00 Qan[T] is seen outside with new armor and wings, possibly resulting from assimilation.
2. Gundam Zabanya- The GN-010 Gundam Zabanya is the successor unit to the Cherudim Gundam, featured in the film. The unit is piloted by Lockon Stratos. Zabanya is a departure from its traditional role as a long-range sniper, placing more emphasis on artillery while still retaining its sniping capability and is now a mobile armory. A series of targeting sensors on its legs and shoulders were built onto the unit for greater accuracy and efficiency in combat. GN Micro Missiles are laced throughout its armor. The GN Holster Bits are the ten green containers mounted on the Zabanya. Zabanya can use the rifles as either hand held rifles or remote weapons. The weapon can also act as a pistol with a shorter barrel and is named GN Pistol Bit in this form with the scope and grip hidden. The pilot has the choice of choosing for the Bit to be either a pistol or a rifle before the weapon exits the Holster Bit. The GN Holster Bits also seem to possess a function similar to the Shield Bits' Assault Mode, arranging themselves into specific formations for offensive purposes, with the ability to incorporate the Rifle Bits themselves into said formations for additional firepower. Also because of the complexity of managing the Rifle and Holster Bits, along with Zabanya's systems, a second Haro port was installed into Zabanya's cockpit system. A Blue Haro now co-processes the data with its Orange counterpart to allow Lockon to effectively pilot Zabanya.
3. Gundam Harute- The GN-011 Gundam Harute is the successor unit to the Arios Gundam, featured in the film. The unit is piloted by both Allelujah Haptism and Marie Parfacy, being a two-seat mobile suit. Similar to its predecessors, it can transform into flight position. It utilizes the Marut system, where the face mask splits open and reveals another pair of eyes, and the field located at the eyes disappears and the eyes turn red. A total of 3 pairs of eyes appear when the Marut system is active. The Marut system activates when Hallelujah is controlling Allelujah's body. The Harute is armed with 2 GN Sword Rifles, which can cut mobile suits like a pair of scissors, similar to its predecessors, the Gundam Kyrios's Shield and the Arios's Beam Shield. It has GN Condenser like materials located at the bottom of the weapon, similar to the 00 Qan[T]'s GN Sword V, which are used for attacking purposes. Located on top of the barrel of the scissor is a Rifle. It can fire as fast as Arios's GN Submachine guns. There is a separate area for holding to turn the GN Sword Rifle into Sword mode as well. Near at the end of the battle after Setsuna/ 00 Qan(T) managed to communicated to the ELS, Gundam Harute has been assimilated, forcing Allelujah & Marie abandoned their mobile suit just as Harute was destroyed by ELS GN-XIV's Beam shot as well. It is unknown Harute's GN Drive had survived or destroyed after the final battle.
4. Raphael Gundam- The CB-002 Raphael Gundam is the successor unit to the Seravee Gundam and Gadessa, featured in the film. It was produced by Tieria Erde for his own use. The unit has greater mobility and flexibility in combat, however, in exchange, its defenses have been reduced. Its GN drive was replaced with the ESF's GN Drive as his previous one was destroyed by Ribbons in his Reborn Gundam. It also has a green ocular sensor scope on its forehead, which is a new targeting sensor derived from Gadessa. Attached to the backpack are a pair of enhanced GN Bazookas (from Seravee's GN Bazooka IIs) and detachable remote controlled GN Claw Cannons. The cannons can fly off to remotely shoot down a target or physically be used to crush enemy targets. The unit is destroyed when Tieria use Trans-Am System to the maximum to overload Raphael's GN Drive Tau to destroying most of the surrounding ELS, while GN-0008RE Seravee Gundam II & GN-0000RE+GNR-010 00 Raiser Condenser Type are destroyed by ELS as well. After that, Tieria was kicked back into Veda after his unit & its body has been destroyed.
5. Seravee Gundam II- With the loss of Seravee's GN Drive and Celestial Being short on resources, Tieria recycled Seravee's frame to create the GN-008RE Seravee Gundam II. Instead of redesigning Seravee as the primary unit for combat, Tieria chose to invert the orientation between the heavily armored form and the hidden high mobility combat form. Seravee was redeveloped after the mechanical aesthetics of Seraphim Gundam, making Seravee the first heavily armored transformable support unit. The original Seravee had a cockpit control system for the pilot and could pivot the cockpit 180 degrees for complete access to Seraphim. Seravee II has no cockpit, the unit is completely autonomous and takes commands through Tieria's quantum brainwaves within Raphael's cockpit. In its backpack form, Seravee II holds two GN Big Cannons and GN Bazookas for Raphael. The GN Big Cannons is a multi-functional component. Each of the cannons contains a GN Drive Taus and the cannon is hidden behind the GN Claws. The attached drives gives the remote cannons great speed, power, and range. The cannons can fly off to remotely shoot, crush, and push off enemy targets. When its mobile suit form is needed, the entire backpack is jettisoned for quick transformation. Above Raphael's head and shoulders is Seravee's pelvis and legs. The GN Big Cannons transform into Seravee's legs. The parts holding onto the GN Bazookas is the head, arms, and torso of Seravee. When the bazookas are transformed forward, it will reveal its completed form.
6. Gadelaza- The GNMA-Y0002V Gadelaza is a mobile armor developed from the Regnant, specifically designed to be piloted by a True Innovator. The Innovator's quantum brainwaves allow the pilot to interface directly with the machine and delegate commands, resulting in quicker responses and less dependency on physical multi-tasking. It is piloted by the Federation Innovator, Descartes Shaman. The mobile armor utilizes 17 GN Fangs and a GN Beam Cannon.
7. Brave- The GNX-Y903 Brave is derived from the Susanowo with the latest Federation-developed GN technology. The Brave was developed by both the AEU and the Union team of engineers and is currently in a testing period. The mass-produced model is a transformable aerial combat unit and the Brave units are adapted for space combat. Two variants Brave include the standard unit and a commander version piloted by Graham Aker.

1. CBS-70 Ptolemaios- Ptolemaios (known also as the Ptolemy) is the mothership for the Gundams of the Celestial Being. Structurally it has four separate docking bays, each with its own catapult to independently launch GN-001 - GN 005. As its main purpose is for the deployment of the Gundams, the ship itself is not armed and is reliant on its GN Field, Gundams, GN Arms, and Assault Container for offense/defense. The Ptolemaios relies on the GN Drives of the Gundams for main power generation. A special connector in each of the docking bays allows the ship to connect to the GN Drive housed within the Gundams to draw power from them. When all four Gundams are launched from the ship, the amount of energy available to the ship is severely limited. The Ptolemaios is heavily damaged during the final battle against the UN Forces killing three crew members in the process.
2. CBS-74 Ptolemaios 2- As the successor to Ptolemaios I, Ptolemaios II is a dramatic improvement over its predecessor. The Ptolemaios II is a multi-purpose MS transport carrier, capable of operating in space, atmosphere, and sea. The ship is designed to be a self-sustaining warship, capable of providing combat support to its Gundams in various situations for extended periods of time. It has atmospheric re-entry capabilities and is capable of returning to space on its own. The ship no longer uses a docking ring for launching Gundams or portable MS containers. Instead, it has a large MS container bay that directly loads their Gundams onto the three linear catapults to launch mobile units in shorter launching times. Unlike its predecessor, the Ptolemaios II is loaded with an arsenal of weapons including GN Missiles, GN Torpedoes, GN Cannons, GN Cannon Turret, and GN Flak Cannon for defensive/offensive purposes and is able to hold its own without the need of a Gundam. The ship can traditionally use GN particle dispersal for stealth and GN Field for protection, but it also possesses a holographic camouflage system to avoid optical detection. The Ptolemaios II was designed to utilize the power of Trans-Am through the Gundam's solar furnaces. It is also able to use Trans-Am without any of the Gundams docked but only for a short time. It is unclear what the ship's particle output and tolerance are when utilizing such high GN particle energies, but Ptolemaios II was designed to siphon GN particles from all four Gundams in emergency.
3. Trinity Mothership- Known only as the mothership to Team Trinity, it is a remote mobile suit space carrier meant for the Throne Meisters to use while on space missions. The ship is later utilized by Wang Liu Mei when she travels in space. It is destroyed by Nena Trinity's GNW-003 Gundam Throne Drei in episode 19 of season 2.
4. Assault Container- The assault container is a GN powered mobile unit carrier; their primary purpose is for docking the GN Arms and the Gundams for transportation and atmospheric re-entry. The container itself is powered by a Gundam's GN Drive; without GN particles provided by a solar furnace, the container is useless. While there are built-in weapons, it is dependent on a GN Drive to power it and is otherwise rendered inoperable. It is equipped with GN Rapid Missile Launchers, 2 GN Cannons, 2 GN Beam Rifles and a GN Field.
5. GNW-003/SH Riian- A shuttle used to house Nena's Gundam, the Liang has the same color scheme as the GNW-003 Gundam Throne Drei and is used for reconnaissance mission for stealth purposes, and it is also a transport carrier for the Throne Drei. The Liang has a GN Blaster for offensive purposes which is similar in appearance to the one used by the Gundam Throne Eins Turbulenz. The Throne Drei can be removed from the Liang through an interface in the cockpit.
6. VTOL Craft- A small craft used by Celestial Being to transport people or supplies when not in battle. Setsuna F Seiei is seen piloting this craft in episode 5 of the second season.
7. VTOL Plane- A small aircraft carrier used by Hong Long as a transport for Wang Liu Mei.
8. Lab Transport- The Lab Transport Ship is a Celestial Being combat support transport ship that contains weapons and supplies for Ptolemaios II. Using two MS containers and bridged together with upper hull components of Ptolemy, the ship itself is composed of spare Celestial Being parts that has been rebuilt into a usable space transport ship.The ship itself is primarily a supply transporter, but is armed with GN Missiles for defensive measures in case the ship must defend itself against enemy units. Because it does not have a GN Field, it depends on hiding behind Ptolemaios II's hull, which acts as one massive body shield to protect the Lab Transport Ship against harm in live combat situations. While not a great combat support ship, the ship is able to provide combat relief to a certain extent for the Ptolemy and assist in attacking units in the Ptolemy's blind spots.The Lab Transport Ship is sacrificed trying to shield the Ptolemaios II from the Innovators' swarm of Gaga suicide mobile weapons.

Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations

1. Virginia Class- A mobile suit carrier used by the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations for defense of its Orbital Elevator and colonies. Later used by Katharon and the Earth Sphere Federation Forces, with Virginia class ships under Katharon installed with linear cannons around the vessel.
2. MS Carrier- A transport ship used by the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations. In the second season, the Earth Sphere Federation is shown to have an improved version of this MS Carrier.
3. Carrier Plane- A mobile suit carrier plane used by Union's MSWΛD.

Human Reform League

1. EDI-40-II Laohu- A transport ship used by the Human Reform League. The ship has three 20-tube missile launcher and is capable of storing 12 mobile suits at a time. Later used by Katharon and the Earth Sphere Federation forces, with the Laohu under Katharon installed with linear cannons around the vessel.
2. MAJ-V34 Jiachong- The MAJ-V34 Jiachong is a land warfare unit used by the Human Reform League prior to the introduction of mobile suits. Though rendered obsolete by the Fanton, it remained in service as a patrol and fire support unit even after the Fanton itself was replaced by the Tieren. In addition to the standard model, the HRL also produced the unmanned MAJ-V34AI Jiachong AI-Controlled Type and an unarmed engineer version equipped with a bulldozer blade.The Jiachong would later be used by the Earth Sphere Federation.
3. MAJ-P13 Feimeng- An air use support craft. It is armed with a 20mm cannon.
4. MAJ-S08 Xiaoshou- A space use support unit. Its arnament consist of a 80mm x 50 smoothbore gun.

Advance European Union (AEU)

1. Transport Ship- A transport ship used by the AEU.

Earth Sphere Federation/A-Laws

1. Federation Spaceship- A space cruiser for use by the Earth Sphere Federation Forces. Armed with beam weapons and missiles. It also serves as the Federation's main spaceship by both the regeular army and A-Laws.
2. Land Battleship- A land type battleship used by the Earth Sphere Federation and Autonomous Peacekeeping Force A-Laws. The land battleship is armed with 8 GN beam cannon and six 16-tube missile launcher and is capable of independent flight. Kati Mannequin is shown commanding one of these ships in episode 3 of the second season.
3. A-Laws MS Carrier- A battleship used by the Earth Sphere Federation. It is an improved version of the Union's MS Carrier. The Autonomous Peacekeeping Force A-Laws uses at least three carriers of this type.
4. Space Transport Ship- A space-use vessel designed for transporting mobile suits and supplies. One of these ships was used by Kati Mannequin to spring a surprise attack on the A-Laws with the Coup d'état faction forces during the final battle between A-Laws and Celestial Being.

Celestial Being

Celestial Being doubles as an Innovator factory and battleship. According to Ribbons Almark, Aeolia Schenberg constructed the base to prepare humanity for encounters against unknown alien races.

The whole ship is laced with GN Beam Turrets to fire upon incoming enemy units and counter incoming ordnance. A powerful GN Particle Cannon was built as its most devastating weapon and is capable vaporizing an entire enemy fleet or hollow an asteroid field in seconds. However, because it uses up all of the particles of a fully charged GN Drive Tau in one shot, a rail ring was built onto the mothership so that the cannon can shift into various positions at the front to fire upon enemy targets and evade enemy fire. A series of docking bays were built to allow mass deployment of MS units into battle. The mothership itself can mass produce Innovator clones and MS units for the clones to pilot.

Despite its impressive armaments, the base can be easily infiltrated through the docking bays and relies on a contingent of cloned Innovator pilots to defend it. To avoid enemy detection, the mothership has its own optical camouflage system to completely cloak itself in the darkness of space until it is needed for combat. The mothership has very high GN particle requirement to power the mothership and its weapons, so to compensate the lack of true GN Drives, a series of GN Drive Taus were installed as one large particle cartridge system. Whenever a GN Drive Tau ceases to generate GN particles, the cartridge system quickly replaces the drive with another and recharges the empty ones while the current one is in use.

The interior of the base is heavily defended by automatons and the anti-personnel kill bots respond to the controls of Ribbons himself. While the mothership is completely under control by Ribbons, the true operator of the whole mothership is Veda. Should Veda be compromised, the base cannot operate.

Orbital Elevator System

The Orbital Elevator System  or Orbital EV is a megastructure planned by Aeolia Schenberg in 2090 to function as a space elevator and a solar power satellite. The structure was designed as a renewable alternative to the dwindling fossil fuel supplies.

It consists of two geostationary rings, equidistantly supported at 10,000 and 40,000 km above the equator by three 50,000-km-high compressive elevator towers that terminate in ballast satellites. The top ring is lined with a photovoltaic array, and the towers carry the energy produced back to the surface. The system is shielded from meteoroids, space debris, corrosion, weathering, geomagnetic storms, radiation (from the Van Allen belt or otherwise), and assorted other deteriorative agents by a physical energy barrier. It is defended by the collective military forces of the nations that participated in its construction.

Presently used for civilian space tourism, the elevators also act as a stepping stone to the ongoing international pursuit of space colonization. Currently there are only a handful of colonies, including Celestial Being's Krung Thep and the Human Reform League's Quanqiu. The Union also maintains a colony, and the AEU, while lagging behind in colony development, is financing both the Reform League and the Union in their respective development projects.

The three dominant supranational powers responsible for the system's construction and operation—the Union, the Human Reform League, and the AEU—have imposed a global boycott of fossil fuels so to better monopolize the energy distribution market. They are located in South America, Africa, and on top of the Pacific Ocean.

Union Orbital Elevator

The orbital elevator controlled by the Union is situated near the border of the modern-day states of Brazil and Colombia within the Amazon Basin. It was the first of the elevators to become operational, completed in 2297.

HRL Orbital Elevator

Heaven's Pillar, the orbital elevator controlled by the Human Reform League, is situated on an artificial island near the real-life nation of Nauru, north of the Solomon Islands in the Pacific Ocean. It was the second of the elevators to become operational, completed in 2297.

AEU Orbital Elevator

La Tour, the orbital elevator controlled by the Advanced European Union is situated west of Lake Victoria, near the border of the real-life African states of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. By 2307, it is incomplete. In 2312, the Africa Tower is taken over by a coup d'état against the Earth Sphere Federation's A-Laws force. The tower was largely destroyed after taking a glancing hit from a second Memento Mori superweapon and large volumes of debris began falling to Earth as a result of the tower's auto-purge initiation program. The damage inflicted to the surface was reduced, albeit still immense, after Celestial Being Katharon, the Federation Army (both loyalists and rebels), and Kati Mannequin's A-Laws detachment worked together to shoot down the falling debris and save numerous cities in the fallout area. The elevator is still connected to space, although most of its outer shell has been purged and has likely fallen to Earth. It took four months to repair the electrical system but the linear train system is still incomplete.

In the Mobile Suit Gundam 00, a mobile suit is a multipurpose humanoid vehicle deployable for use as an Armoured fighting vehicle in mechanized maneuver warfare. It was originally designed for construction-related purposes and the handling of heavy cargo. Aeolia Schenberg is credited with devising the technology as an accessory to the Orbital Elevator System.

Beam Technology

Beam technology  within Mobile Suit Gundam 00 has yet to come into conventional use. The Gundams are the first line of mobile suits to practically employ Particle beam-based firearms and melee weapons on the battlefield. Standard mobile unit projectile weapons continue to be of the physical round variety. Generic particle beam composition is unknown as of this time, but it is supposed that the Gundams utilize GN particles.

E-Carbon

E-Carbon  is an artificial allotrope of carbon, employed as the armor material of numerous recent-make conventional mobile units. It is one of the newest and strongest materials available.

Solar Energy Mobile Suits

Solar energy mobile suits are designed to take advantage of the energy provided by the orbital elevators. It is mentioned in the novel that these mobile suits can receive energy directly from the orbital elevators by means of radio wave. The AEU Enact is one such unit.

A "Gundam Nucleus Drive" (or GN Drive in short) is a semi-perpetual generator that outputs GN Particles, developed as a mobile weapon power source by Celestial Being. It harnesses the photon and positron discharge of the non-evaporative decay of baryonic matter as an energy source; GN particles are not used in the process of energy production. Though there is a finite energy output per unit of time, the absence of a limit to its functional life translates to an effectively inexhaustible supply of energy. Owing to the unique heatlessness of its activity and the special properties of its byproduct GN particles, device operation is virtually invisible to such methods of detection as Infra-red search and track or conventional radar. These drives are used in conjunction with a TD Blanket, a special filter used in true GN Drives. These unique components not only provide filtering to the GN Drives and prevent the GN particles from damaging cellular organisms, but also give the GN Drives their near-infinite energy production capability. This component also prevents other factions from creating true GN Drives of their own, as the TD Blanket can only be manufactured in a location of high atmospheric pressure such as the upper gaseous atmosphere of Jupiter, where the GN Drives were first manufactured. A GN Drive is unable to harness topological defects for energy without a TD Blanket.

The Twin Drive System (a.k.a TDS) is a next-generation drive system in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 that synchronizes two GN Drives to create exponential GN Particle generation. Originally unique to theGN-0000 00 Gundam, the Innovators later stole the data from Celestial Being and reverse-engineered the system to work with two GN Tau Drives.

In a 2 Drive configuration with a regular setup, the total amount of particle output is simply double of a single GN Drive because the number of Drives has doubled as well. However, with a 2 Drive machine using a Twin Drive setup, the resulting particle generation is not double of that of a single Drive but instead is the square of that of a single Drive's output. This happens because of the synchronization of the 2 GN Drives, which allows the Twin Drive System to achieve such high particle generation rates.

GN Drive Tau

GN Drive Tau are known as pseudo-solar reactors and/or pseudo-solar furnaces, generally known as GN Drive [T]. The data used to create Tau Drives came from an expedition to Jupiter where a Haro terminal (later known as the purple Haro that accompanied Team Trinity) was found, which contained data. The Tau Drives were used initially by Team Trinity's Gundam Thrones and later by the three superpowers and eventually the Federation Army and A-Laws. Though functionally similar, Tau Drives lack the TD Blanket component of a true GN Drive. As a result, a GN Drive Tau lacks the self-sustaining perpetual engine capability of a true GN Drive. Unlike the Gundams, which are capable of unlimited operation, any unit equipped with a Tau Drive must periodically shut down and recharge. The particle coloration of a Tau Drive varies from red to gold, unlike the blue-green coloration given off by true GN Drives. High densities of particles given off by Tau Drives have the side effect of preventing cellular regeneration, an available medical practice of the time. Eventually, the particles' effects become fatal to a victim. The Innovators have medication that can suppress the Tau particles, but the high density GN particles produced by the Twin Drive can negate and even reverse the effects.

GN Particles

GN particles, a type of exotic neutrino released as a byproduct of the GN Drive, are capable of disrupting conventional radar and wireless communications. The effect is comparable to that of the Minovsky particles in Universal Century. Unlike standard-flavor particles of the same class, GN particles are responsive to an unspecified machine-producible interactive force. They are exploited by Celestial Being for a variety of uses as part of an electromagnetic stealth measure; in a physical barrier system, for use in such circumstances as atmospheric reentry; as a propellant for the GN Verniers; and as a coating that improves the cutting ability of physical blades. The particles produced by all types of GN Drives are the same at the elementary level. The differing effects and visual appearance is because the particles are tuned at different wavelengths, a characteristic that is integral to each type of drive. Celestial Beings' true GN drives emit particles at a wavelength that corresponds to the green portion of the color spectrum. Green particles are optimized for particle compression and are generally balanced in its performance aspect.

The Gundam with original GN Drives gives out bluish-green particles. GN Particles can result in telepathic attributes when one is exposed to a high concentration; Veda humanoid interfaces such as Tieria Erde and the Innovators are able to communicate with each other or connect with Veda through GN particles.

GN Tau Particles

Just as the GN Tau Drive used by the Gundam Thrones and GN-X models is an imperfect version of the true GN Drive, so are the GN Tau Particles imperfect versions of the true GN Particles. Generated by GN Tau Drives, they share most properties with GN Particles (including radio disruption, use in beam weaponry and propellant applications), but do not allow for enhancement of quantum brainwaves. The particles generated by the Tau Drives in 2308 can cause cellular damage when exposed to high concentrations, which cannot be repaired through 24th-century medical science. Louise Halevy's inability to regenerate her hand was caused by exposure to GN Tau Particles from Nena Trinity and her GNW-003 Gundam Throne Drei, and it is possible that her current health conditions also stem from the cellular damage caused by the attack. Eventually, the effects of the Tau particles will become fatal to the victim. However, the effects can be suppressed. The Twin Drive is able to slow and possibly reverse the effects of the Tau particles.

Trans-Am System

The Trans-Am System is a system that temporarily removes the 'limiter' on the true GN Drives. Under normal operation, the limiter reduces the output of the GN Drives while the drives themselves store up any excess GN Particles created inside GN Condensers. With the limiter deactivated, the GN Drives can then operate at their full power by releasing all of their stored particles instantaneously. These stored particles saturate the frame of the mobile suit to give it a reddish hue, and the abilities of the unit are increased threefold while the system is active. However, this boost in performance is only temporary as once all the released energy and particles dissipate, the GN Drives must replace the spent energy and the unit will perform at a reduced capacity until the energy is replaced.

The use of the Trans-Am system is not limited to mobile suits. Celestial Being's assault carrier Ptolemaios II can engage Trans-Am mode when at least one Gundam GN Drive is attached to the ship's system. As seen in episode 9 of season 2, the combined Trans-Am output of Cherudim, Arios, and Seravee enables the Ptolemaios II to execute an atmospheric launch from sea level. In episode 23 of season 2, the ship has a Trans-Am system, utilizing the pre-stored particles in its particle storage tanks; it can be used only for a brief period of time.

A Trans-Am-like mode is possible with fake GN Drives, but has a shorter time limit than the real ones, since the fake drives have limited energy. Unlike true GN drives, which simply operate at a reduced capacity after Trans-Am has ended, Trans-Am derived from false GN Drives risk rendering the mobile suit inoperable due to lack of particles.

According to Ian Vashti, Innovation is caused by the GN Particle's special state in Trans-Am (Trans-Am Raiser and Trans-Am Burst System specifically). He theorized that it may be possible that this special state of GN Particles can even be felt regardless of range, and that more possible genuine Innovators awakened as a result of Trans-Am Burst that Setsuna used during the battle with the Innovators. He is worried that the Earth Sphere Federation now possessing the Trans-Am System technology will notice its relation to Innovation and try to use it for military purposes.

Later, Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer, Trans-Am can be used to overload & self-destruct in GN Drive Tau as a last tactic.

Trans-Am Burst System

A hidden Trans-Am derived system on the 00-Raiser, known as Trans-Am Burst, is known to only activate when the pilot, a true Innovator, uses their quantum brainwaves to link to the Twin Drive System. This is perhaps best demonstrated when Setsuna unconsciously activates it when going against the Innovators. The full effect of Trans-Am Burst is still unknown, but the system is known to cover a large area with a high density of purified GN Particles that disrupts quantum brainwaves. The Twin Drives produce massive amounts of GN particles in a rainbow-like hue, streaming from them in waves. There are enough particles to envelop a battlefield. The GN particles are able to halt the cellular mutation of the GN Tau particles. The GN Particles it generates have a similar effect to Trans-Am Raiser: those within the particle cloud will experience the "quantum effect" for an extended period of time (relative to the surrounding particle density). The system has been defined as "expanding human consciousness" via the "purified" GN Particles, which also have the ability to disrupt quantum brainwaves, repel nearby mobile suits, and distract enemy combatants as an overwhelming particle burst.

Twin Drive System

The "Twin Drive System" is a 200-year-old GN technology concept originally devised by Aeolia Schenberg,and currently in use exclusively in the 00 Gundam (although it was later stolen by the Innovators from Celestial Being and reverse engineered to allow the Reborns Gundam to use two Tau Drives in a Twin Drive as well). The system utilizes two GN Drives with a synchronized GN particle production rate as the basis for the system's operation, which creates a synchronization of the topological defects in the two GN Drives. This ultimately produces a synergy in which the total output of both drives is squared (by coupling the drives' production).

The Twin Drive mechanism will not function with just any two GN Drives - each GN drive is unique in some way and these differences can prevent the system from reaching a stable level of synchronization. Even though GN Drives have been seen in different shapes and sizes, these differences are believed to be more than cosmetic as the inner mechanics of a GN Drive are unknown and have not been seen. Every combination of the drives from 0 Gundam, Kyrios, Dynames, and Virtue failed to operate the system, and only the combination of the drives from Exia and 0 Gundam were able to reach a synchronization level that allowed the system to stabilize and power the Twin Drive System. Even after stabilizing the system, the system was still unstable and activating the Trans-Am System risked a system overload. It was only after the 0 Raiser was used in conjunction with the 00 that the system could be fully stabilized and the Trans-Am system was safe to use.

While Federation mobile weapons have been shown with more than one GN Drive Tau (the GNMA-XCVII Alvatore mobile armor had seven), they only operate in series so they lack the amplification effect of the Twin Drive system. The combined output of multiple GN Drive Taus is merely the sum of the outputs of the individual drives rather than the square of the combined output as in the Twin Drive System.

Veda ("knowledge") is the supercomputer of Celestial Being, located in the colony ship of the same name stationed near the Moon. It is a highly advanced form of artificial intelligence based on real developing technologies of quantum processing. Veda is interlinked throughout all of Celestial Being's computers, including the Gundams. The Gundams possess an operating system that is interlinked with Veda for tactical adaptation and mobile suit combat. The name "Veda" may be a reference to the Vedas, a collection of ancient Hindu scriptures.

Due to suspicious tampering with Veda, Sumeragi had her staff create a backup system in the event Veda was hacked again. This system was helpful when Alejandro Corner managed to find Veda. Alejandro nearly had the Gundam Meisters killed when he overrode the Gundam's systems, but Sumeragi had the Gundams disconnect from Veda and coordinate on their own. Veda was directly linked to Aeolia Schenberg's dormant body, and is programmed with a system trap should Aeolia's body be harmed in any way. This safety program was activated when Aeolia Schenberg was killed, unlocking the original Gundams' Trans-Am System while erasing all information on the four Gundam Meisters.

Veda is linked to the world's net, making it capable of absorbing a vast amount of data. It is unclear if Veda is capable of hacking since other Celestial Being members hacked for information; Veda is known to have classified government information. It is unknown whether the information was given by Celestial Being observers, done by itself, or a combination of both.

Its inter-network systems are no different than modern internet LAN systems, but on more complex scales. Veda can communicate with the Haros of Celestial Being, but it is unclear whether Veda has influence or merely communicates with them; it would explain the Haros' ability to perform complex tasks and reflective thoughts to the Meisters. Veda's systems are linked with the Gundams and provide tactical knowledge as well as remote control with the Gundams.

Although Veda is an all powerful A.I. construct, it is still just an advanced operating system. Like all software, it can be altered or controlled. Veda has seven layers of barriers for such a situation, but was still no match for Ribbons Almark. Sensitive data pertaining the profiles of the Gundam Meisters, GN Drives, and Celestial Beings' mobile suit designs were taken due to unauthorized infiltration. Veda has been manipulated with certain commands that affects all operations of Celestial Being.

Bio-terminals called the Innovades can telepathically connect with Veda through use of quantum brainwaves and GN particles as a catalyst. They can use this ability to great effect, like locating one of their own. When the Innovades connect to Veda, their eyes glow in a digital rainbow hue. It has been hinted in interviews with director Seiji Mizushima that Veda is the primary cause for the world's current situation, including why Solar power is more commonplace than nuclear energy (in order to prevent mankind from destroying itself) and the splitting of the world into the three power blocs (something of a proto-form of a unified world).

It is unclear how Veda screens and evaluate for recruitment, but the majority of recruits to Celestial Being were chosen by Veda. Veda somehow noticed very specific people and entrusted them with the secrets of Celestial Being. From the Gundam Meisters to the crew members and agents, they were all chosen by Veda for their qualities. Veda does not appear to factor in compatibility, as the Meisters as well as other Celestial Being members are prone to violent diasgreements.

Those selected have not all agreed willingly, such as Gundam Meisters Marlene Vlady and Fon Spark. Several others were drafted into Celestial Being against their will. Untrustworthy operatives of Celestial Being were given explosive neck braces which detonate when they become a serious threat. Marlene was eventually deemed trustworthy and had her explosive removed.

In episode 24 of the second season, Tieria Erde recaptures Veda from Ribbons Almark. Ultimately, Regene Regetta gave Tieria Ribbons' access code, so Tieria was able to cut off Ribbons' link to Veda and his control of Veda.

Memento Mori

A solar-powered free-electron laser located on the Low Orbit Ring, it was developed by the Innovators for A-Laws with Wang Liu-Mei's financial support. Its destructive power quite easily surpasses nuclear weapons, and is capable of wiping an entire city off the face of the Earth with one shot. For all its power however, the weapon was doomed by multiple weaknesses. Its inability to fire rapidly and its limited firing angles meant that it was dependent on an A-Laws fleet for protection. Even with that though, Memento Mori would not prove easy to destroy. Its greatest weakness is its "electromagnetic field photon resonance chamber", a component critical to firing the Memento Mori. Should the chamber be destroyed or damaged, the Memento Mori's energy systems will overload and will result in a chain reaction explosion; the chamber itself is built under the right side of its hull armor. Approaching fleets were limited by their size and formation to stay in Memento Mori's firing area, and Memento Mori's heavy armor meant that only the most powerful weapons could destroy it. Also it suffers from a limited firing angle (approximately 30–45 degrees from vertical) relative to distance. In fact, the satellite weapon has a blind spot parallel to the orbital ring in which it is unable to attack. The Memento Mori makes up for this by anticipating the movement of enemy targets and firing at the enemy from long-range before the enemy can reach their intended destination.

Two Memento Mori's were created. The first was fired four times; first at the Suille Kingdom's capital city, then on a Richiera Kingdom military base-refugee camp, on an approaching Katharon fleet, and finally at Celestial Being's Transport Ship, Ptolemaios II. It was destroyed when Celestial Being used the Gundam Seravee's Hyper-Burst and Ptolemaios II's missiles to breach the armor, allowing Gundam Cherudim to destroy the electromagnetic field photon resonance chamber, destroying the superweapon. Memento Mori 2 fired only once, at Africa Tower's Low Orbit Station during a Federation Forces coup. It was critically damaged and put out of operation (at least temporarily) by 00-Raiser. Repaired, it was destroyed four months later by 00-Raiser before it could fire a single shot.
